In 1995 something happened that radically changed the European football. This was the arrival of the Bosman ruling, a decision made by the European Court of Justice which meant that players with an expired contract could change clubs for free and that the European Union's internal market including the free movement of labour was now a part of the European football. The effects of theBosman ruling are wildly discussed today. Many powerful people in the European football mean that football now is less competitive than before, that there are a small amount of teams that actually have the ability to win any trophies. This bachelor thesis is studying the effects of the competitive forces in football after the Bosman ruling as a case of the free movement in the European Union.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate if Latvia´s pattern of trade has become more similar to the mature market economies, after Latvia´s independence 1991.Today, the intra-industry trade (IIT) dominates the trade of mature market economies. One of the pioneers of intra-industrial trade is Paul Krugman, who was the first to emphasize the importance "of scale and consumers' desire for variety" in explaining the basis for modern commerce. Customers get more variety and usually cheaper goods when the market gets bigger. I mainly use the modern trade theories to explain the trade pattern in Latvia. To measure how Latvia has developed its intra-industry trade, and thereby is approaching the mature market economies´ trade pattern, I use the Grubel-Lloyd index (GL-index).

This essay is an attempt to study some post-modern theological positions with regard to their growing interest in the use of mystical theology and mysticism in theological research in the academic post-modern world, and to see if the 19th century theologian Albert Schweitzer couldprove a resource for this understanding of mystical theology. This position is known in the essay as ?the mystical turn.?To present the background and understanding of this post-modern view of mystical theology the essay presents three theologians, namely: Andrew Louth, Mark A. McIntosh and Sarah Coakley.These three theologians argue for the use of a contemplative and transforming mysticism as a postmodern epistemology in relation to theological research, with growing concern of the status of theology in the secular and post-modern world. Having made clear the views of these three theologians the essay then presents Albert Schweitzer's view on the mysticism of Paul.

This essay is aiming to go through and study the most important and frequently mentioned terms and titles used in the letters of Paul to denote and describe God, the Father, the Son and the Spirit. These include ?Christ? and ?Lord? as well. The background to this thesis is the debate of the last decades within exegetics, concerning the so called "New Perspective on Paul". Denna studie har genomförts för att undersöka hur Meat Free Mondays kampanj för att minska människors köttkonsumtion representerar och presenterar relevanta frågor om miljö och hälsa i delar av deras externa kommunikation.Syftet har varit att se hur miljö- och hälsofrågorna presenteras och representeras i Meat Free Mondays digitala kommunikation via videoklipp och delar av hemsidan. Vi har diskuterat vilka motiveringar som finns för att helt eller delvis sluta äta kött och utgått från tidigare forskning och teori i miljö- och hälsokommunikation. Vidare har vi utgått utifrån begrepp som kommunikationskampanjer och social marketing, och utifrån ett teoretiskt ramverk över miljö- och hälsoutfall undersökt vilka motiv och retoriska resurser som används i kommunikationen. Det har även diskuterats vilken roll och verkan Paul McCartney har som ambassadör för kampanjen.Studiens metodologiska ram har baserats på Karlberg & Mrals neoaristoteliska retorikanalys av både text och bild, och huvudsakligen de tre appellerna ethos, logos, och pathos. Materialet innefattar fyra videoklipp från Meat Free Mondays YouTube-kanal där Paul McCartney framför tal, samt delar av Meat Free Mondays hemsida, med innehåll som berör aspekterna hälsa och miljö.Studien visar att innehållet av Meat Free Mondays kommunikation kombinerar olika strategier för att stärka kampanjens teser. Budskapet förmedlas genom att anspela mycket på människors ekologiska drift och gemensamma värderingar, och användandet av den retoriska appellen pathos framträder tydligt i materialet.

This essay tries to investigate the possibility to reconstruct the concept of mimesis in Martin Heidegger?s hermeneutical phenomenology in Sein und Zeit. Paul Ricoeur?s interpretation of the concept of mimesis in Aristotle?s Poetics, develops a new temporal understanding of the mimetic activity, which Ricoeur in his work Time and Narrative, claims to have the possibility to overcome the aporias in the phenomenology of time. With this criticism as the background context for the present study, seeks this essay to pick up Ricoeur?s new conception of mimesis, and use that in a comparative philosophical reflection on the basic concepts in Heidegger?s Sein und Zeit.

En jämförande analys har gjorts av skivinspelningar från 1961 och framåt med trumslagarna Paul Motian, Jack DeJohnette och Jorge Rossy. Analysen behandlar rytmik, dynamik och klangfärg i två standardlåtar, All the things you are och Solar, och baseras på transkription i partiturform med avsikt att tydliggöra musikernas interaktion. Uppsatsen innefattar även en konstnärlig del i form av en inspelning, där jag tillsammans med en pianist och en basist framför tre standardlåtar. Dessa inspelningar diskuteras i relation till det analyserade materialet.
